In a night of triumph for the Panthers, they emerged victorious in both the Harold Matthews and SG Ball competitions against the Steelers at Windsor Sports Complex.

The clash against the formidable current competition leaders was always going to be a tough hurdle for the SG Ball Panthers, but they rose to the challenge in a thrilling and physical encounter.

One player who stood out was Jett Cleary, who mesmerized the Illawarra fullback with an impressive array of high kicks.

The crafty dummy halves, Jenson Tuaoi and Zaid Lehn, constantly posed a threat in the ruck, while the strong presence of props Hokafonu Lemoto and Judah Galuvao ensured a dominant force in both attack and defense.

The game's first try came in the 7th minute when Tuaomaliemavaitoelau Patea showcased his fancy footwork and sliced through the Steelers' defense, earning a successful conversion by Jett Cleary.

A tense moment followed as the Panthers had to defend tenaciously within their own half after a sneaky kick deflection from the Steelers.

However, the away team's potential try was swiftly overturned by the referee for being offside.
