Bradford Snaps Losing Streak Against Hull

Bradford

Bradford secured a vital victory, breaking their five-game Super League losing streak by defeating Hull FC 16-14 in a nail-biting encounter at Odsal.

The visitors faced disappointment as Yusuf Aydin was sent off early in the second half, giving them a slim chance to tie the game; however, Zak Hardaker's pivotal conversion struck the post after Davy Litten's try in the 76th minute.

At halftime, Bradford led 6-4 thanks to three penalties from Chris Atkin, countering two from Hardaker.

Hull initially thought they had scored a try when Logan Moy crossed the line, but it was disallowed for obstruction.

Things worsened for Hull when Aydin received a red card for a tip tackle on Caleb Aekins nine minutes after the break, putting them at a disadvantage.

Bradford made the most of their extra player as Waqa Blake scored upon returning, following a run from Zac Fulton. Hull fought back with Joe Batchelor's try and Hardaker's successful conversion.
