A recent interaction between Bulldogs captain Stephen Crichton and young halfback Lachlan Galvin has drawn significant criticism within the rugby league community.
During the second half of their game against the Wests Tigers, Crichton chose to disregard Galvin's request to contest a knock-on decision.
Initially, it seemed evident that a handling error had occurred, but video replays revealed that Galvin actually retained possession, with the ball being stripped by rival back-rower Kai Pearce-Paul.
Despite the evidence, the Bulldogs were unable to file a challenge since the window for doing so had passed.
This incident marks the second time in recent weeks that Crichton and Galvin have found themselves at odds during a match.
