Daniel Suluka-Fifita, the enforcer for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, is facing a potential move to the Super League due to limited opportunities in the NRL.
According to Love Rugby League, St Helens, an English club, is exploring a deal to bring the prop to the northern hemisphere.
The injury to Matty Lees has left St Helens short on forward depth, and adding Suluka-Fifita would significantly benefit their lineup.
Since making his NRL debut for the Sydney Roosters in 2020, he has played 46 matches but hasn't consistently maintained a spot in the top grade.
The 26-year-old has been offered to several Super League teams recently, aiming for an immediate transfer to ensure he plays at the first-grade level.
Following an ACL injury in 2024, the Bulldogs still signed him during his rehabilitation, and he participated in 11 games last year for the club based in Belmore.
This year, he has yet to appear in the top grade for the Bulldogs, making a departure seem increasingly probable.
At 112 kilograms and standing six foot four, he presents a considerable challenge for defenders and would undoubtedly be an asset to many teams.
His earlier spell at the South Sydney Rabbitohs was also marred by injuries, resulting in just 15 appearances before his release in early 2024.
