The Canterbury Bulldogs have released forward Daniel Suluka-Fifita from his contract effective immediately.

Previously contracted until the end of the season, Suluka-Fifita will now pursue a new opportunity in the English Super League.

St Helens has confirmed his signing after they let go of former Gold Coast Titans prop Agnatius Paasi to make room for the dynamic 26-year-old.

His contract with St Helens extends until the conclusion of the 2028 season.

"On behalf of everybody at the Club, I'd like to welcome Daniel to St. Helens, and we look forward to seeing him in the Red V," said Saints coach Paul Rowley.

"After a difficult run with injuries has stretched the squad this season, it's great to bring in a player of Daniel's quality and character."

Standing 192 centimeters tall and weighing 112 kilograms, Suluka-Fifita has made significant impacts during his limited NRL opportunities, although consistency has eluded him.

His career, which began in 2020 with the Sydney Roosters, includes a total of 46 NRL games.

He appeared in 20 matches for the Roosters, later moving to the South Sydney Rabbitohs in mid-2022, where he participated in another 15 games until the end of 2024.

After joining the Bulldogs in 2025, he played 11 games, all occurring last year as Cameron Ciraldo's squad navigated various injury challenges.
