Concerns Rise Over Tuivasa-Sheck's Future

Has Roger Tuivasa-Sheck Played His Last NRL Game?

There are growing concerns that Roger Tuivasa-Sheck may have played his final game in the NRL after he exited the field in discomfort during Saturday night's match in Kogarah.

While the New Zealand Warriors secured a decisive victory over the St George Illawarra Dragons, the triumph came with significant concerns regarding the fitness of their star player.

Just 11 minutes into their 30-12 win, Tuivasa-Sheck left the pitch, raising suspicions of a potential ACL injury-an unfortunate setback shortly after his return from a shoulder issue.

Following the match, Warriors coach Andrew Webster addressed the situation, highlighting the uncertainties surrounding Tuivasa-Sheck's injury.

"It's just funny with those injuries, I wish we had a scan machine at every ground and then we could walk in here and give you guys feedback straight away, and we'd have clarity," he remarked.

"But until we get that, we'll just wait and see."

If medical scans confirm an ACL injury, it could likely mark the end of his NRL career.

Next season, Tuivasa-Sheck is set to join Wakefield Trinity in the Super League, and an ACL recovery would extend beyond this current season, should the diagnosis be confirmed.

On a hopeful note, Webster mentioned that Tuivasa-Sheck was able to walk after the game, suggesting that the injury might not be overly severe.
