The Wests Tigers website has released a piece titled "Wests Group Macarthur boosts junior rugby league," highlighting a major investment from Wests Group Macarthur into grassroots rugby league.

The whopping $350,000 funding injection will benefit a whopping 23 clubs, 500 teams, and 8,077 players in the Macarthur and Group 6 competitions.

This financial boost will alleviate the burden on families by covering costs such as registrations, playing gear, insurance, and other necessities.

Essentially, this funding will save families around $60 per junior rugby league enthusiast.

This generous funding initiative, now in its third year, stands as the most significant financial commitment ever made by Wests Group Macarthur to a sporting code.

The announcement was made during the halftime break of the NRL showdown between the Wests Tigers and the St George Illawarra Dragons at Campbelltown Sports Stadium.

Wests Tigers CEO Shane Richardson expressed his gratitude for the unwavering support from Wests Group Macarthur, emphasizing its critical role in the club's strategic plans in the southwestern Sydney region.
