Dragons to release outside back Feagai soon

The St George Illawarra Dragons are rumored to be parting ways with outside back Max Feagai.

Despite his brother Mat Feagai recently re-signing with the club, Max has yet to commit to a new deal.

A homegrown talent who has risen through the ranks, Feagai has played 23 NRL games since debuting in 2020, with 12 of those coming this season.

However, his recent form has dipped, coinciding with the Dragons' struggle to maintain their position in the top eight.

He finds himself on the reserves list for the upcoming clash against the Canberra Raiders.

Reports from the Sydney Morning Herald suggest that Feagai is unlikely to be in the Red V's plans for 2025, despite coach Shane Flanagan previously hinting at a different outcome.

It seems the Dragons are ready to make a change, possibly looking to inject some fresh talent into the mix to revitalize their lineup.
