Nicho Hynes, the halfback for the Sharks, will miss the upcoming match against the Sea Eagles due to an injury sustained at training earlier this week.
Scans revealed he has a minor calf strain, and additional tests are needed to assess the length of his recovery.
Hynes has participated in all ten matches this season and played all 27 games for the Sharks last year.
In other injury updates, Sione Katoa is still out due to an ankle problem but is expected to return by round 14.
The Sharks' three Origin players-Blayke Brailey, Addin Fonua-Blake, and Briton Nikora-are set to be included in the lineup for Friday's game against Manly, although their availability will be confirmed after Wednesday's match.
