In a move that has fans cheering and critics nodding in approval, Brisbane Broncos powerhouse Martin Taupau has inked a deal that will see him charging down the field until the end of 2025.
At 34 years young, Taupau has racked up an impressive tally of 255 NRL games and represented both New Zealand and Samoa in 33 electrifying test matches.
After a solid 2024 season where Taupau left opposition players in his wake with 13 blistering appearances, the Broncos decided to back him for another year.
"Securing another contract at this stage of my career means the world to me," Taupau shared with Broncos Media.
"It's not just about another season; it's a testament to the faith my team and fans have in my ability to keep delivering on and off the field."
With this extension, Taupau aims to keep bulldozing through the competition with the determination and strength that has become his trademark.
As he gears up for the challenges ahead, Taupau is all set to leave a legacy that will be talked about long after he hangs up his boots.
Cheers to that, mate!
