Passionate Kevin Walters breaks down in tears, walks out of presser

Kevin Walters, affectionately known as "Kevvie" to NRL fans, fought back tears in a heartfelt final press conference with the Brisbane Broncos before making a sudden exit.
Reports from news.com.au reveal that Walters, a Rugby League legend in his own right, was sensationally given the boot by the club on Thursday night, sending shockwaves through the Rugby League community.
Despite rumors circulating that Walters was unceremoniously sacked, Broncos CEO Dave Donaghy maintained during a presser on Friday morning that he and Walters had come to a mutual agreement for the club to seek a new head honcho.
Walters, a seasoned veteran of the game at 56 years old, was granted a one-year extension just in March, extending his tenure with the club until the end of the 2026 season.
In a surprising turn of events, Walters will still be involved with the Broncos as an "ambassador," continuing to uphold the club's rich history and strong connections to the community.
