The Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles are gearing up for their most crucial match of the season as they fight for a spot in the NSW Cup finals.

According to seaeagles.com.au, the team is facing "one last challenge" in their pursuit of a playoff spot.

With only the top five teams making it to the finals, there are currently five to six teams vying for the remaining three positions.

As the fifth-placed team with 30 points, the Sea Eagles are set to take on the eighth-placed Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, who are just one point behind them in the standings.

The match will be held at Accor Stadium in Homebush.

While the North Sydney Bears and South Sydney Rabbitohs have secured their places in the finals as the top two teams, the Warriors and Canberra Raiders are tied for third place with 31 points each.

The Penrith Panthers are sitting in sixth place with 30 points, closely followed by the Newtown Jets at seventh place with 29 points.

Blacktown Workers are entering the Bulldogs game with confidence after a remarkable 32-12 victory over the Warriors, who were in third place at the time.

The Sea Eagles dominated the match from the start, building a commanding 18-0 lead by halftime.

They went on to secure the win with six tries to the Warriors' two.

This upcoming game against the Bulldogs will be crucial for the Sea Eagles' playoff hopes.

A win will secure their place in the finals, while a loss could potentially knock them out of contention.

The team will need to replicate their strong performance from the previous match and maintain their focus and determination.
