Major concerns have arisen regarding Manly Sea Eagles star Luke Brooks following a suspected ACL injury during a significant victory at Brookvale against their rivals, Melbourne.
This talented halfback transitioned from the Wests Tigers to Manly ahead of the 2024 season and had not missed a single game since his debut in Las Vegas.
Brooks could not return to the field in the second half, having played over ten minutes while clearly in pain after the injury.
Young gun Joey Walsh, who recently signed an extension, stepped in for him, allowing Manly to secure a dominant 30-4 victory.

"It's absolutely devastating for Luke," Foran remarked during his post-match press conference.
"We're all shattered for him; we'll obviously wait for confirmation, but they're pretty certain it is, which is gut-wrenching for us as a club, but more importantly Luke."
