Des Hasler, the head honcho of the Gold Coast Titans, didn't hold back in his criticism of his team's performance after they suffered their third consecutive loss in the 2024 NRL season.
It's safe to say that the Gold Coast lads have hit a bit of a rough patch, conceding over 30 points in each of their games so far.
The Titans faced off against some tough opponents - the St George Illawarra Dragons, the Canterbury Bulldogs, and most recently, The Dolphins.
Despite taking an early lead against The Dolphins, the Titans couldn't maintain their momentum and ended up on the wrong side of a 30-14 scoreline.
Even with the Dolphins' Max Plath sitting on the sidelines after being sin binned, the Titans couldn't capitalize on the opportunity to turn the tide in their favor.
Hasler didn't mince words when he admitted that his team just isn't up to scratch yet.
It's back to the drawing board for the Titans as they look to turn their season around and show that they have what it takes to compete at the highest level.
As they say in the world of Rugby League, it's all about bouncing back from defeat and coming back stronger.
Time will tell if the Titans can rise to the challenge and prove their mettle on the field.
