St Helens powerhouse Alex Walmsley has put pen to paper on a new two-year contract extension, keeping him at the Super League club until the end of the 2026 season.
The 34-year-old made his debut for the Saints back in 2013 and has since tallied an impressive 278 appearances for the team.
A true stalwart of the game, Walmsley has been a key figure in St Helens' success over the years, capturing five Super League titles, four League Leaders' Shields, the Challenge Cup, and a World Club Challenge along the way.
"I'm over the moon, mate.
It's been brewing for a while now," Walmsley shared on the club's website.
"To have it all sorted and official is a great feeling.
I'm pumped and ready for the next couple of seasons to come."
With Walmsley locked in for the foreseeable future, the Saints can continue to rely on his brute force and experience to lead them to further glory on the rugby league battlefield.
