Tamika Upton, who had a remarkable season, has been chosen to make her international debut for the Harvey Norman Jillaroos in the upcoming 2023 Pacific Championships.
This news was reported by the Raiders' official website.
Upton, along with Emma Manzelmann and Jess Elliston, is one of the three new players to join the team after their successful World Cup campaign in November.
Yasmin Clydsdale and Caitlan Johnston, who were part of the Knights' Grand Final victory, have also been included in the squad.
Additionally, players from the runner-up Titans, including Shaylee Bent, Lauren Brown, Jaime Chapman, Shannon Mato, and Evania Pelite, have been named in the extended squad.
This year, the squad represents nine out of the ten NRLW clubs due to the competition's expansion.
Isabelle Kelly, a Roosters center, has the opportunity to break the all-time try-scoring record for the Jillaroos and is selected alongside her club teammates Tarryn Aiken, Keeley Davis, Olivia Kernick, and Jessica Sergis, who has recovered from a fractured finger.
