The future of Sam Verrills at the Gold Coast Titans appears to be quite uncertain, indicating that it's not at Robina.
Verrills has found himself significantly lower on the depth chart, to the extent that he is no longer part of the weekly 19-man squad.
Currently, the former Sydney Roosters premiership-winner is competing with the Tweed Heads Seagulls in the Queensland Cup, where he has participated in four matches, notably scoring a try and playing the full 80 minutes in his last game against the Norths Devils.
With Oliver Pascoe and new recruit Luke Sommerton earning spots in the first-grade lineup and performing adequately, it seems unlikely that Verrills will make a return to Josh Hannay's team this season, unless an injury occurs.
