The Sharks have issued a statement regarding NRL squad member Braydon Trindall's recent run-in with the law.

Trindall, known for his speed on the field, found himself failing roadside alcohol and illicit drug tests in the wee hours of Monday morning.

As is tradition in the world of Rugby League, the Club has swiftly taken action in line with the player's contract and CBA.

The NRL integrity unit has been called in to assist, with the Club, player, and his management all in agreement that it's best for Braydon to take a break from games and training.

Instead, the focus will be on his welfare and health - prioritizing his recovery like a team huddling to discuss strategy during a tough match.

Trindall didn't delay in reporting the results to Sharks management, who wasted no time in notifying the authorities.

The next step for Trindall is a court appearance in May, where he will have the opportunity to address the allegations and charges leveled against him.

A secondary sample for the illicit drug test is still pending confirmation, adding a touch of suspense to the situation like a last-minute try attempt.

The Sharks, known for their fierce determination on the field, take these matters very seriously.

However, they are rallying around Trindall and providing him with the necessary support - showing the kind of solidarity that makes Rugby League teams a tight-knit family.

For now, the Club is keeping mum until more information comes to light.

But rest assured, like a team ready to tackle whatever comes their way, the Sharks will handle this situation with strength and determination.
