Recent scans have revealed that Sharks co-captain and hooker Blayke Brailey has sustained a fracture in his right arm during the matchup against the Sea Eagles.
Brailey showcased his skills for the Sharks before being substituted in the 54th minute, following a stellar debut for the NSW Blues earlier this week.
Surgery is scheduled for Brailey early next week, and his return to play will be assessed post-operation.
In Brailey's absence, Hohepa Puru took over the hooking position last night, while experienced player Jayden Berrell is also poised to step in as needed.
