Penitani poised to surf the Sea of Red with the Jillaroos
Harvey Norman Jillaroos standout Tiana Penitani is calling on Tongan supporters to rally behind their team as they prepare to take on New Zealand in the Pacific Cup final this Sunday.
The iconic Sea of Red is expected to make waves at a packed CommBank Stadium during the jam-packed quadruple header, with Tonga squaring off against the Kangaroos in the showdown of the men's competition.
Before that clash, Australia will lock horns with New Zealand in the women's final, where Penitani, one of three Jillaroos with Tongan roots, is urging fans from the Pacific nation to cheer on their side.
Joining Penitani in the Jillaroos squad are Simaima Taufa and Yasmin Clydsdale, also proud of their Tongan ancestry.
