Gold Coast coach Des Hasler has unveiled a stunning new addition to the Titans gym, highlighting the diverse and inclusive culture of the club.
The mural, which measures an impressive 6.8 metres wide and 4.1 metres high, showcases the word "welcome" in 24 different languages.
This incredible artwork has quickly become a popular attraction at the Titans' high performance centre.
This mural is not just a decorative piece, but a symbol of the numerous player languages represented within the Titans' NRL and NRLW squads.
Among the diverse mix of cultures are the nine First Nations and Torres Strait cultures, as well as players from Pasifika, Papua New Guinea, Ireland, and Pakistan.
The creation of this masterpiece was driven by Hasler himself, who proposed the idea upon his arrival on the Gold Coast.
The initiative has garnered immense support from both the players and community leaders within the club, including renowned former player Preston Campbell.
The inclusion of such a prominent and culturally diverse artwork reflects the Titans' commitment to promoting inclusivity and embracing the multicultural heritage of their players.
Through this masterpiece, the Titans not only celebrate their diverse squad, but also send a powerful message of acceptance and unity.
As the Titans continue to strive for success on the field, their dedication to creating an environment that celebrates and embraces diversity will undoubtedly foster a strong sense of team spirit and camaraderie.
The mural stands as a constant reminder that for the Titans, unity in diversity is not just a phrase, but a way of life.
