The Dragons, known for their fiery intensity on the field, were unable to overcome the Titans in their NRLW opener, falling 18-10 at WIN Stadium.

The Dragons were left lamenting missed opportunities and costly errors that ultimately proved too much to overcome.

Despite a valiant late comeback attempt, the Dragons were unable to claw their way back from the early deficit handed to them by the Titans.

The game got off to a rocky start for the home side, with an early penalty and a failed kick for touch giving the Titans prime field position.

This allowed the Titans to strike first blood, with winger Emily Bass crossing over for the opening try.

The Dragons had their chances inside the Titans' 20-meter line, but a well-placed McGregor kick was just out of reach for Margot Vella.

The Titans capitalized on the Dragons' missed opportunity, marching down the field to score a second try through Bass, with Lauren Brown adding the extras from the difficult left sideline.

The Dragons, known for their resilience and never-say-die attitude, fought back late in the game but ultimately came up short against a determined Titans side.

Despite the loss, the Dragons will look to regroup and come back stronger in their next NRLW clash.
