The Bulldogs website, bulldogs.com.au, has reported that a local memorial walkway known as The Kokoda Track Memorial Walkway (KTMW) is playing a significant role in our community as an education resource and a crucial site of commemoration.

The recent ANZAC Round jerseys, donned by the players during a match, were put up for auction to raise funds for the memorial walkway.

The proceeds from the auction were generously gifted to support the KTMW.

The event was graced by the presence of esteemed guests Bruce Robertson (104) and Reg Chard (99), both of whom are among the few remaining World War II veterans.

These veterans, who have bravely fought for our freedom, were honored for their service and contribution to the nation.

The Bulldogs website highlighted the importance of preserving the memory of those who have sacrificed their lives for our country and praised the efforts made to maintain the memorial walkway.

The KTMW serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by our brave servicemen and women, allowing future generations to learn about and appreciate their contributions.

The Bulldogs and their supporters are proud to be associated with such a noble cause and are dedicated to ensuring that the memory of our fallen heroes is never forgotten.
