To'a Secures Move to Manly for 2027

Wests Tigers have granted an early release to outside back Starford To'a, allowing him to join Manly on a two-year contract set to begin in 2027.

Initially under contract with the Tigers until the close of the 2028 season, the 25-year-old will now transition to the Northern Beaches after reaching an agreement with the Sea Eagles.

The club publicly announced this development in a press release issued on Monday afternoon.

"Originally contracted through until the end of 2028, the Wests Tigers and To'a have mutually agreed to his release to take up this new opportunity," stated the club.

To'a expressed that his immediate priority is to conclude his time with the Tigers on a high note before joining Manly.

"This is my fifth season at the Tigers, and I want to make the most of the time I have left here," To'a remarked.

"I'm really grateful for the opportunity at the Sea Eagles, and I know I will be super excited to join Manly once my job here is done."

Manly's coach, Kieran Foran, warmly welcomed To'a's signing, commending both his skills on the field and his character as a person.

"Starford is a quality player and a really good person," Foran noted.
