Jazz Tevaga, the battle-hardened warrior of the New Zealand Warriors, has officially declared his switch to a new NRL team after spending nine seasons and 138 grueling matches with his former comrades.
Since bursting onto the scene back in 2016, Tevaga has been a linchpin of the side, a local hero who has made a name for himself coming off the interchange bench.
His prowess was recognized in 2018 when he was honored with the prestigious Dally M Interchange Player of the Year award.
At 28 years of age, the seasoned campaigner has notched up 19 appearances this season, crossing the try line once, breaking through 27 tackles, making a whopping 374 tackles, and averaging an impressive 90 running meters per match.
Having represented his homeland Samoa on four occasions, Tevaga is eager to embark on a fresh adventure in his career, although he will undoubtedly feel a pang of sorrow bidding farewell to the fiercely loyal Warriors fanbase.
