Hull KR 50-6 Castleford: Rovers Dominate Injury-Stricken Tigers

Hull KR showed no mercy towards an injured Castleford as they secured a commanding 50-6 victory, scoring nine tries in the process and climbing to third place in the Betfred Super League.

Amid their injury crisis, Castleford debuted four new players this week: Tyler Dupree, Phoenix Laulu-Togaga'e, Tom Nicholson-Watton, and Brad Dwyer.

Despite their efforts, the makeshift team struggled against a dominant Rovers squad, marking their sixth consecutive win across all competitions, highlighted by Tom Davies' impressive hat-trick.

Karl Lawton opened the scoring with two tries, while Tom Amone and Dean Hadley added to the tally, giving Hull KR a 34-0 lead at halftime.

Though they eased off after the break, Mikey Lewis and Joe Burgess still added points, with Davies rounding out the scoring for the home team.

Rhyse Martin successfully converted seven tries as they look forward to next Sunday's Challenge Cup semi-final against Warrington, aiming to build on their momentum from this match.
