The Eels' exodus: eleven players set sail

LeagueNews.co | Jason Patrick

The Parramatta Eels are set for a major shake-up in 2025 under the helm of new head coach Jason Ryles, with the club bidding farewell to eleven players.

Reagan Campbell-Gillard leads the pack of departures, with the prop forward not returning to the Eels next season.

Rumors suggest he may be donning the jersey of the St George Illawarra Dragons or even the Brisbane Broncos.

The Eels have also lost promising young talent, with Ethan Sanders, Matt Arthur, and Blaize Talagi already set to join new clubs.

Additionally, outside back Zac Cini will be taking his talents overseas to England to further his career.

As the dust settles on these departures, the Eels must regroup and rebuild for the challenges that lie ahead, knowing that in the game of Rugby League, change is inevitable.
