warriors.kiwi are reporting Surge in support shows no signs of slowing down
On the back of last year's record-breaking commercial performance, the surge in support for the NZ Warriors has picked up where it left off for the club's 30th anniversary season.
In 2024 the Warriors sold out all hospitality options before the season started and they went on to become the first club in NRL history to sell out every home game.
That was matched by record merchandise sales and huge growth in membership numbers.
The start to 2025 has continued the trend.
Every hospitality offering - game day lounges, suites and booths - was snapped up well in advance of the season starting sparking the NZ Warriors to create a new hospitality venue (the Speight's Clubhouse); it will be open for business for the first time when the 2025 home campaign starts against Manly Warringah at Go Media Stadium on Friday night (8.00pm kick-off).
Crowd numbers have boomed as well, kicking off with an attendance of 23,344 for the NZ Warriors' Preseason Challenge clash against Melbourne at FMG Stadium Waikato on February 15.
That's the biggest crowd in history for a Warriors trial and was some three times more than the next best attendance for any 2025 NRL trial.
