In a recent match against the Parramatta Eels, Manly Sea Eagles interim coach Kieran Foran heaped commendations on back-rower Haumole Olakau'atu for his "unbelievable" performance.
Olakau'atu has been a key factor in the Sea Eagles' remarkable resurgence, contributing to their four-game winning streak since Foran took charge.
With his exceptional ball-running abilities and strong defensive skills, highlighted by a notable tackle on Dylan Walker, Olakau'atu is rapidly establishing himself as one of the best forwards in the NRL.
His recent display was arguably his strongest of the season, recording over 200 running metres, making seven tackles, achieving four offloads, and completing 14 tackles.
"He's been unbelievable all year. Haumole is such a special player. I can't speak highly enough of this guy," remarked Foran after the Sea Eagles secured their first home victory of the season.
"I think the sky's the limit for him, I honestly do, as a footballer. I think he's just got something that not many players have got and you see that in his performances.
