Brendan Piakura has sustained an injury to the lateral compartment of his left knee, according to scans conducted at the Clive Berghofer Centre's Qscan facility.
He is scheduled to consult with a surgeon to assess his recovery timeline and will not participate in Saturday night's match against the Roosters.
