Fuller Rejects Offers, Stays with Dolphins

Dolphins fullback Trai Fuller has spurned a second opportunity to leave the team, declining an offer from the Warrington Wolves in the English Super League.

This decision comes after Fuller, who has been playing in a supporting role to Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow at the Dolphins in 2026, faces ongoing speculation about his career future.

The 29-year-old reportedly has a clause in his contract that allows for an immediate exit if a specific salary threshold is met.

Earlier this year, Fuller also turned down an approach from the Dragons, who were unable to secure an extension to a potential deal through 2027.

Reluctant to uproot his life for just half a season, Fuller's hesitancy becomes clearer as the Dragons are now pursuing Scott Drinkwater from the North Queensland Cowboys.

He has also rejected Warrington's offer of a three-year contract which is estimated to exceed $550,000 AUD annually.

News Corp indicates that Fuller's reluctance stems from not wanting to relocate his family across the globe, as he aims to continue pursuing his NRL journey.

Currently, it is reported that the Dolphins have proposed a two-year deal to Fuller, but it remains uncertain if he will commit to staying with the club.

With the NRL expanding to include two new teams, the Perth Bears and PNG Chiefs, in 2027 and 2028, the dynamics of the league will continue to evolve.
