The Sydney Roosters N.S.W. Cup team dominated the second half, scoring seven tries against the St George Illawarra Dragons in Wollongong.
With this victory, the Roosters secured their fifth win of the season, finishing 48-28 against the Dragons, who had led 16-12 at halftime.
Junior Tupou opened the scores early in the 7th minute, crossing after a brilliant play involving Reece Foley, Toby Rodwell, and returning fullback Cody Ramsey, making it 8-0.
The Dragons quickly responded, taking the lead to 10-6 after two tries, but Egan Butcher put the Roosters ahead again at 12-10 just before halftime.
A late Dragons try from Dylan Egan left them leading 16-12 as the teams headed into the break.
After halftime, the Dragons extended their advantage to 22-16, putting the pressure on the Roosters.
However, the Roosters regrouped and scored seven tries in a sensational performance, concluding the match strongly at 48-22.
Cody Ramsey shone again, while Tommy Talau sustained a right knee injury early in the second half.
