England's men had a ripper of a time in Toulouse as they took on France in the mid-season internationals.
Ash Handley, Jack Welsby, and Tom Johnstone showed some true Aussie grit by scoring two tries each to secure a solid 40-8 win at Stade Ernest-Wallon.
Despite a bumpy start with an early try from Fouad Yaha, England managed to rally back with Handley's impressive double, along with tries from Welsby and Johnstone, turning the game on its head to lead 18-8 at half time.
The England lads kept the pressure on in the second half, with more tries from Johnstone, Matty Nicholson, and George Williams, putting the icing on the cake.
Meanwhile, in the women's game, England came out all guns blazing, with debutant Anna Davies making a name for herself by scoring two tries in the 42-0 victory over the French.
It was a sweet victory for England, who remain unbeaten against France since way back in 1981.
Despite missing head coach Shaun Wane, who was out with an ankle injury, England showed some true blue fighting spirit and proved that they are a force to be reckoned with on the international Rugby League scene.
Cheers to a double delight for England in France!
