As someone who identifies as a Sharks fan, I can affirm we consistently reach the finals.
I won't mention the podcast that suggested Ocean Protect Stadium (Shark Park) might soon be taken away from the Sharks.
Every few years, influential figures, including journalists and podcasters, often advocating for teams based in large inner-city stadiums, propose that the game should distance itself from suburban venues.
Suburban stadiums like Manly's Brookvale Oval, Cronulla's Ocean Protect Stadium, and the Tigers' home grounds often bear the brunt of this unwarranted criticism.
However, it's important to recognize that these suburban facilities are here to stay-and they absolutely should be!
To further emphasize my point, why would the NRL consider relocating the Sharks to Kogarah Oval if suburban grounds were on the decline?
Is it really worth it for an extra set of toilets and one less food option?
