Sea Eagles Face Bulldogs in NRL Showdown

Turbo on the move against the Cowboys in Round 7 in Townsville

The Manly Warringah Sea Eagles face the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs at Accor Stadium this Saturday for NRL Round 16.

Both teams are coming off byes after winning their last matches in Round 14.

Manly triumphed over the Rabbitohs 28-14 after a prior loss to Cronulla, while the Bulldogs edged past the Eels 14-12 with a late penalty goal.

A major boost for Manly is the return of star fullback Tom Trbojevic, who has been out for two months due to injury.

Additionally, middle forward Ethan Bullemor returns after missing their previous win due to a head injury.

From either side, only Manly's Tolu Koula is participating in Origin 2, and he is included in Manly's starting lineup.

Bulldogs centre Stephen Crichton is set to play despite a shoulder injury that ruled him out of the Blues team.

Hooker Kurt Mann returns from an ear injury, shifting Bailey Hayward to the bench.

In their last two encounters at Accor Stadium, Manly secured wins against the Bulldogs in 2024.

Notable try scorers included Lehi Hopoate, Tom Trbojevic, Jason Saab, and Reuben Garrick, as Manly won 34-22 in Round 26 of that season.
