Pressure off : Walters dismisses doubts during Broncos struggles

"Pfft, what a load of bullocks!" Walters bellowed, shrugging off suggestions that he's not up to the task of steering the Brisbane Broncos in the right direction.

In a pre-match press conference ahead of their showdown with the Gold Coast Titans, Walters dismissed any doubts about his leadership with a swagger that could rival a veteran fullback evading tackles.

"I'm not even going to entertain that nonsense.

It's like asking a footy player if they'd rather be playing cricket," he scoffed.

The Broncos are facing a rough patch, having stumbled through seven defeats in their last eight games, with star player Adam Reynolds mostly watching from the sidelines.

But Walters remains resolute, his demeanor as tough as a hardened prop forward in the scrum.

"Critics? They don't know what goes on behind the scenes.

That's just a daft question," he remarked, ready to rally his troops for a crucial showdown on the field.
