During various weeks, he managed impressive stats, including five from seven, five from six, nine from eleven, and seven from eight.
By the end of Round 9, his tally stood at 38 goals from 47 attempts, translating to just over 80 percent-an impressive figure for most kickers.
However, a shift occurred.
Though it could currently be attributed to a lack of confidence, the change was sudden, as if he went from expert to struggling overnight.
Suddenly, targeting the goal posts became an insurmountable task, especially in high-pressure situations.
Since Round 10, Walker has participated in 11 games with the Roosters, managing to maintain a goal-kicking efficiency below 50 percent in six of those outings.
