The 2025 Junior Reps season kicked off with a bang at Raiders Belconnen over the weekend, with all four Raiders teams hitting the field.
The Raiders Lisa Fiaola squad got the ball rolling on Saturday, but unfortunately fell to the Eels 34-6.
Despite it being their inaugural match, the Raiders showed heart and determination, but the Eels were simply too powerful.
The Eels got off to a quick start, scoring in the first minute of the game.
However, Raiders winger Saige Fattore managed to get his team on the scoreboard with a well-executed try off a perfect kick from halfback Adelaide Norris.
After that, it was all Eels, as they went on to score six unanswered tries to secure the win.
The Raiders will now regroup and prepare to take on the Wests Tigers next weekend at Kirkham Oval in Camden.
It may have been a tough start, but the Raiders are ready to bounce back and show what they're made of on the field.
With plenty of passion and drive, they will be looking to make their mark in the Junior Reps competition this season.
