The Jillaroos are gearing up for a rematch with New Zealand after last year's shock defeat, with skipper Ali Brigginshaw leading the charge.

Despite the pressure following their previous loss, Brigginshaw remains calm and focused on the task at hand.

The upcoming showdown in Christchurch will see the two rivals face off once again, with memories of New Zealand's 12-6 victory still fresh in the minds of the Australians.

However, the Jillaroos are coming off a convincing 84-0 win over Papua New Guinea, with their wingers showcasing their skill and speed on the field.

With the game set to be a sell-out, the Jillaroos know they will have to bring their A-game to secure a spot in the upcoming final.

While the crowd may not be on their side, Australia is determined to show New Zealand that they are a force to be reckoned with, especially after their previous World Cup victory.

"I don't think there's too much pressure on us.

I just think it's about maintaining the high standards that we set for ourselves at the Jillaroos," said Brigginshaw.

"For us, it's all about the performance on the field.

It's not about what the other team does."

As they prepare to take on their rivals once again, the Jillaroos are focused on redemption and revenge, ready to show the world that they are a team to be feared.
