The NRL's Match Review Committee has issued a charge after the action-packed match on Friday night between the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and the Melbourne Storm.
Max King, the Bulldogs' front rower, faced a grade-1 careless high tackle charge for his hit on Davvy Moale in the game's 52nd minute.
As it's his first offence, King will incur a fine of $1000. However, if he opts to contest the charge at the judiciary and does not succeed, the fine will increase to $1500.
In a noteworthy game, the Bulldogs achieved their fourth victory of the season, overcoming the Storm with a score of 30-20, despite missing their Origin stars.
Having been down 18-6, the Bulldogs turned up the intensity in the second half, clinching two essential points.
In the coming round, both teams face formidable challenges. The Bulldogs are set to clash with the Wests Tigers at CommBank Stadium next Saturday, while the Storm will take on the Sydney Roosters in a crucial match that could help keep them in contention for a top-eight position.
