The Dragons emerged victorious in a hard-fought battle, taking down the Tigers 24-12 in a heated showdown at a packed Campbelltown Stadium.

Right out of the gate, the Dragons seized the momentum with Zac Lomax scoring off a penalty and some slick passing from Ben Hunt, Tyrell Sloan, and Jack Bird.

Lomax showed his speed along the sideline to touch down, although his conversion attempt hit the post.

The Tigers clawed their way back into the game after a disputed decision from Ben Hunt led to an opportunity for them to strike.

Fullback Jahream Bula's strong run set up a try for Stefano Utoikamanu, who powered over the line thanks to a pinpoint pass from Api Koroisau.

The score remained tied after Koroisau's conversion hit the upright, leading to a tense moment as the Bunker reviewed the decision.

But Koroisau redeemed himself with a successful penalty goal, putting the Tigers ahead 6-4.

Despite their efforts, the Tigers struggled to contain the Dragons, who pulled away in the second half to secure the win.

The Dragons displayed their experience and composure, capitalizing on their opportunities to come out on top.
