The stage is set for an Easter Monday showdown as the Wests Tigers gear up to take on the Parramatta Eels in what promises to be a cracking match-up.

After a solid win over the Sharks last weekend, the Tigers are feeling confident and ready to take on the blue & golds, who are also coming off a win of their own.

Unfortunately for the Eels, they will be without star playmaker Mitchell Moses due to a foot fracture, opening the door for Blaize Talagi to step up and take on the role of five-eighth in just his second NRL appearance.

It will be a showdown between Talagi and his former Westfield Sports High teammate, Lachie Galvin, who is a rising star in the NRL.

While Moses' absence is a blow for the Eels, they will welcome back Maika Sivo from suspension, adding some much-needed firepower to their lineup.

The Easter Monday clashes between these two teams in recent years have been nail-biters, with the Eels squeaking out a win last season and the Tigers pulling off a thrilling victory in 2022.

The Tigers will be looking to improve on their recent record against the Eels, with just one win in their last 10 meetings.

But in Rugby League, anything can happen, and the Tigers will be hoping to turn the tide and come out on top in this crucial match-up.

It's sure to be a game full of twists and turns, and fans can expect plenty of excitement on the field.
