The titans over at titans.com.au have dropped a bombshell, revealing that three of their shining NRLW stars are in the running for prestigious NRL awards.
Shannon Mato and Evania Pelite have been nominated for the Pasifika Leadership and Excellence Awards, while Jaime Chapman is a finalist in the Indigenous Leadership and Excellence Awards.
These awards are all part of the NRL's Wellbeing & Education Awards, shining a spotlight on the hard work and dedication that NRL and NRLW players put in both on and off the field.
It's a true testament to their commitment to excellence.
The Pasifika Leadership & Excellence award is all about recognizing and celebrating current NRL and NRLW players from a Pasifika and Māori background who are not only killing it on the field, but also making waves within their clubs and the wider rugby league community.
Similarly, the Indigenous Leadership & Excellence award is all about celebrating current NRL and NRLW Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islanders players who are not only standout performers on the field, but are also making a difference in their communities.
The winners of these prestigious awards, along with the Academic Team of the Year, will be revealed at a special ceremony in Sydney on the 21st of August.
It's sure to be a night to remember for these Titans stars.
