Veteran Cowboy and fan-favorite, Jake Granville, has decided to hang up his boots after a stellar 12-season career in the NRL.
But this seasoned player isn't done just yet, as he looks to explore overseas opportunities to keep the game alive in 2025.
Granville, who earned life membership at the Cowboys earlier this season after reaching his 200th club appearance, will be honored in the final regular season home game against the Melbourne Storm.
It's a fitting tribute to a player who has given his all to the team since joining in 2015, following a stint with the Brisbane Broncos.
In true sporting fashion, Granville reflected on his time with the Cowboys, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to play a decade of Rugby League in North Queensland.
As he bids farewell to the NRL, it's clear that his legacy will live on in the hearts of fans and teammates alike.
