Adam Elliott, the Newcastle Knights' forward, has shut down rumors of leaving the club before his contract ends.

The Knights are facing a tough challenge in managing their roster and salary cap as they head into the 2025 season.

Speculation has been swirling around players like Daniel Saifiti and Jack Hetherington possibly leaving, while Jayden Brailey, Dane Gagai, and Tyson Frizell's names have also been thrown into the mix.

Despite the approaching pre-season in November, talks of player movements continue to circulate.

In an interview with the "Newcastle Herald," Elliott dismissed the rumors of his departure, stating, "It was news to me.

I spoke to Peter O'Sullivan and my manager, and there's no truth to it." The Knights will be looking to strengthen their squad and navigate their financial situation as they prepare for the upcoming challenges on the field.
