The Knights are feeling optimistic about the return of powerhouse player Bradman Best, as they gear up for a late-season push reminiscent of their finals charge from a year ago.

Coach Adam O'Brien is confident that Best, despite his recent string of hamstring injuries, will make a comeback this season.

Best initially injured his hamstring in round 11, causing him to miss a month of play.

However, he defied the odds and played a pivotal role in the State of Origin decider, helping the Blues secure a crucial victory.

Although Best suffered another setback against the Broncos, O'Brien remains hopeful that the talented centre will bounce back yet again.

With the Knights just two points outside of the top eight, Best's return could be a game-changer for the team.

"The good thing is, he's a top-notch healer," O'Brien remarked.

"He has a knack for recovering quicker than expected.

We'll have to wait and see how he progresses, but he's already back in the mix after taking a few days off to recover from the setback."

As the Knights prepare to welcome back their key forward, they are banking on Best's resilience and determination to help propel them towards success in the upcoming matches.
