The Melbourne Storm, known for their consistency in the NRL, have been left reeling after a devastating loss to the Penrith Panthers.

Cameron Munster, a star player for the Storm, expressed the need for his team to "find the DNA" following their inconsistent performance.

Despite starting strong and scoring early, the Storm squandered several opportunities, a grave mistake against a formidable team like Penrith.

Their completion rate of just 65 percent and defensive breakdowns ultimately proved to be their downfall.

Munster lamented their failure to capitalize on crucial moments, highlighting the frustration of their inability to force errors from the Panthers until the 60th minute.

He acknowledged that while the Storm had their moments of dominance, their mistakes in pressure situations were costly, particularly in the finals against high-quality opponents.
