Reimis Smith finds new home after Storm release

After scoring his release from the Melbourne Storm ahead of schedule, former NRL center Reimis Smith has officially sealed the deal on his new adventure.

According to the folks over at zerotackle.com, Smith has inked a contract with the Catalan Dragons, a Super League team, for the remainder of the 2024 season.

He is set to touch down in France in the coming days.

Smith's move to the land of croissants and rugby supremacy follows an impressive 117 NRL appearances with the Canterbury Bulldogs (2016-20) and the Melbourne Storm (2021-24), with a solid tally of 50 tries under his belt.

"I am absolutely stoked to join the ranks of the Catalan Dragons," Smith enthused upon joining the Super League squad, ready to tackle this exciting new chapter head-on.
