In a historic game, the Canberra Raiders emerged victorious over the Sydney Roosters with a score of 24 - 14, securing the Green Machine's first NRLW win.

The match showcased a remarkable performance from Grace Kemp, who made an immediate impact as a substitute player.

Despite the Roosters initially dominating field position due to the Raiders' penalties, the Green Machine's defense proved impenetrable, thwarting their opponents at every opportunity.

Both teams displayed unwavering determination in their defensive efforts, refusing to concede any points.

It was not until the 25th minute that the Raiders seized their first scoring opportunity, capitalizing on a chip chase to force a line drop out, thereby shifting the momentum in Canberra's favor.

Finally, in the 27th minute, the Green Machine managed to breach the Roosters' defense, with Grace Kemp crashing over the try line.

Zahara Temara successfully converted the try, extending the Raiders' lead to 6 - 0.
