Joe Tapine and Simaima Taufa have tackled their way to victory, scoring the Meninga Medals as Players of the Year at the Raiders Presentation Night at Parliament House.

Tapine, a seasoned warrior on the field, clinched his third consecutive Meninga Medal with an impressive display, leaving his competitors in the dust with a commanding 33 votes.

The night took an even more poignant turn as Captain Elliott Whitehead passed the torch to Tapine, naming him the new skipper for the upcoming seasons.

Meanwhile, Taufa proved she is a force to be reckoned with, claiming her second consecutive Player of the Year award in the NRLW.

Her leadership both on and off the field has been instrumental in the Raiders' success in the league's second season.

Kaeo Weekes shone brightly in his debut season, earning the NRL Coaches' award, while Ethan Strange was recognized for his outstanding performance in his rookie year with the Peter Mulholland Rookie of the Year award.

The Raiders are gearing up for another season of hard-fought battles and unforgettable moments on the field.

The future looks bright for this team of warriors who are ready to tackle whatever challenges come their way.
